Athens Christian School's bass fishing program provides student-athletes with a unique opportunity to compete in one of the fastest-growing sports in the state of Georgia while developing a lifelong appreciation for God's creation. Through competitive angling, our students learn the values of patience, discipline, sportsmanship, responsibility, and teamwork both on and off the water.
The ACS bass fishing team competes against schools from across Georgia in tournament trail events on some of the Southeast's premier fisheries. Student-athletes gain valuable experience in tournament preparation, strategy, conservation practices, and boat safety while representing Athens Christian School with excellence and integrity.
At Athens Christian, we believe athletics provide an opportunity to glorify God and prepare students for life beyond high school. Through the bass fishing program, our athletes are encouraged to pursue excellence, build lasting friendships, and develop a deeper appreciation for stewardship of the natural resources God has entrusted to us.
